Since the early 1900s, Tijuana was a prime destination for adventurous gringos seeking a taste of “Ole” Mexico. However, the events of 9/11 led to a significant decline in tourist numbers.
Yet, a growing population and the rise of the middle class breathed new life into local businesses. By catering to the needs of the community, these enterprises not only survived but flourished. This shift also sparked a dynamic and diverse culinary renaissance in the city.
Come along on our guided tour as we savor Tijuana’s culinary tapestry, weaving together the excitement of its burgeoning food scene with the timeless essence of “Ole” Mexico.
